Riley Strom (b. 1991) is a painter originally from Los Angeles, CA. She earned her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence in 2013 where she studied painting and philosophy. She co-founded and ran the contemporary art gallery, 99 Cent Plus Gallery from 2013-2016 in Brooklyn, NY. She received her M.F.A. from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in 2020. In her work, she investigates the relationship between image, space, and material through figuration and abstraction.
