CAROLYN FORRESTER
2021 - 2022
Carolyn Forrester (b. 1993, West Point, NY) received a B.A. from Yale University in 2015 and an M.F.A. from the Leroy E. Hoberger School of Painting, Maryland Institute of Contemporary Art, in 2020. While in Baltimore she ran Inadequate Lighting, an apartment gallery, from 2020-2021.
Forrester’s work was recently the subject of a solo exhibition, titled Government Denies Knowledge, at Carlye Packer in Los Angeles.
Forrester’s work has been included in numerous group exhibitions at spaces including Current Space (2021), School 33 (2021) and Maryland Hall (2020). Forrester attended the Saas-Fee Summer Institute of Art (2019) and has received fellowships that include a CIPE Research Fellowship from Yale University (2014).
